Parents and Families of CCMS:
My name is Mrs. Jeanie Bandy and I am extremely excited to be the Principal at Cumberland County Middle School. I am very passionate about education and look forward to working with you to provide our students with a high-quality middle school education experience. As a parent of four children, ages 14, 10, 9, and 2. I recognize the importance of strong parent and family communication and will commit to keeping you informed and aware of all school events. I have an open door policy and invite you to come to CCMS anytime you have questions, concerns, or comments.
Prior to joining the staff here at CCMS, I taught Business Education at Macon County High School in Lafayette, TN for 9 years before being promoted as the school coordinator for support services in 2012. During that time, I decided to go back to school for a third time to pursue a Specialist in Education degree in Instructional Leadership. I graduated from TTU in December of 2013 and was hired as the principal of Smith County High School in Carthage, TN in June of 2013. I remained the principal there for three years until I married Eric Bandy of the Pall Mall community and relocated to Pickett County, TN in June of 2017.
I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to be back in the public education setting to work with teachers, students, parents, and families at CCMS to provide our students with an outstanding educational experience that we can all be proud of. We have wonderful students and teachers at Cumberland County Middle School and I am confident that together we can achieve success, nothing less. Thank you for the opportunity to serve our families in this role and for sharing your children with me! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share.
