Cold weather

1/7/15

Greetings Cumberland County Parents/Guardians!  Old man winter is definitely here, and our area will be experiencing extremely cold temperatures over the next couple of days.  The safety of our students is always a top priority when making the decision to close or delay school, and we can assure you that our school buildings are warm and our busses are properly functioning as well in light of the harsh temperatures.  We urge parents to make sure children are dressed appropriately for the frigid weather by wearing layered clothing, head coverings, gloves, heavy coats and jackets, etc.  We will continue to monitor the weather reports and send updates as needed.  Feel free to contact your child’s school or the district office if you have any questions.  Bundle up and stay warm!
